STOCKHOLM – Stockholm Stream (www.deltasystem.tv), a leading provider of content distribution solutions, today announced that it has added support for Xumo Stream Box for its customers. The Xumo Stream Box 4K streaming device combines live TV and streaming in an intuitive interface. Xumo is the latest major streaming platform supported by Stockholm Stream’s Delta system, which offers a full, one-stop service for video content owners, including encoding, metadata, subtitles, and packaging.

Now, Delta can benefit from connectivity to Xumo Stream Box’s hundreds of pre-loaded apps – including Fubo, Hulu+, YouTube TV, Peacock, Max, and many more – and its support through operators including Comcast, Cox, Comcast Xfinity, and Mediacom.

“We have worked with the Xfinity group for some time, and Xumo is a natural extension of our relationship with the broader Comcast team. We see Delta as a natural fit for the Xumo ecosystem, and our customers will gain access to one of the strongest portals for streaming content,” said Patrik Littmann, co-founder of Stockholm Stream. “The value of Xumo for independent content producers and library owners cannot be understated, and we look forward to driving more customers through Xumo.”

Delta can be used for full ingest and delivery and can ride on top of archives or cloud services, such as Vimeo. The Delta value proposition encompasses mastering and security and is an ideal tool for OTT service delivery. Stockholm Stream Delta’s client roster includes niche rights holders, including Passionflix and high-volume customers such as Flixolé. Delta is agnostic to cloud vendor, and serves all VOD players, including Apple TV+, DISH, Prime Video, Vimeo, Roku, Sling, Xumo and Magine Pro.
