WESTMINSTER, GREATER LONDON  April 11, 2024 – Media operations technology company, Blue Lucy, has hired accomplished industry expert Alison Pavitt as chief marketing officer. Pavitt’s appointment into the newly created role concludes a period of recruitment to expand the company’s senior management team as part of an ambitious growth strategy.

Pavitt started her career at broadcast graphics specialists Aston in the 1980’s and has excelled in sales and marketing roles over the last four decades. She joins Blue Lucy after a long tenure with Pebble where she moved up the ranks from marketing manager to director of sales and, most recently, marketing and chief revenue officer. Pavitt is the newest member of Blue Lucy’s senior management team which has also seen the addition of new hires Joshua Martin as head of product and Joe Hegarty as director of IT in recent months. Longstanding team members include Jonathan Lunness as chief strategy officer and Zachary Sloss as director of software architecture, along with founder and CEO Julian Wright.

“Blue Lucy has always been and will remain a product-led business. Joe and Josh coming on board last summer underscored this approach, and their contribution is already delivering significant business benefits to our customer base in terms of rapid delivery of product features,” said CEO Julian Wright. “Alison will bring a new dynamic to the senior management team with a focus on increasing our marketing output and making sure that the value we deliver is clearly communicated. We’re thrilled to have her on board.”

“I’ve long admired the positive energy at Blue Lucy and the clever technology that the company brings to market, and I’m excited to be joining the team at such a pivotal time in its growth” added Pavitt.
